Their rationale is that if the federal government does nothing about Asset Acceptance LLC, they, the private corporations have no obligation to enforce federal law, much less to protect the interests of the American public. A Corporation like Asset Acceptance Corp. LLL, whose assets in the year 2002 exceed 5.2 billion dollars would turn a favorable face and even perhaps invest in the coffers of the three major credit reporting agencies like Equifax, Experian, and Trans Union in order to perpetuate their crime against the American consumer. Equifax, Experian and TransUnion condone Asset Acceptance Corp. LLC's activities and appear to be in collusion with the activities of this firm.
