I recieved a letter on sept 1st with a check from getpaid2.com for $4997.00. In the letter they wanted me to mystery shop at walmart,The Gap,moneygram, and western union, and by doing this would get me into the company for free and they were offering me $500.00 to do the mystery shops. The lady I talked to told me that my $500 would come out of that check that they sent me. I didn't even bother to send the check off to have it checked out, by looking at it you could tell it was a fraud their was no return address on the envelope and it had a stamp on it from canada. I don't think any mystery shop company would send you a legitimate check before hand to do the shops. It doesn't make any sense to do that plus I never gave getpaid2.com my information anyways. The name on the letter is David Hawkins.

....you didn't fall for this scam (and thank goodness you did not), Getpaid2.com DID NOT sen you that check.
Getpaid2.com is actually getting scammed to in this whole thing. Somewhere, there is a crook that sent this to you. Their main goal is for you to "wire" them back some of the money from the check they sent you - which is drawn on a reall business (Getpaid2.com) with the ral business' banking info.

I sent getpaid2.com an email asking them if they were the ones sending out the checks and if the offer was legit but they haven't replied to my email, I emailed them last saturday which was the day I got the check. It would be nice to know which one of these mystery shopping companies are legit.
