Government Grant Processing Center Robbie Frazier with Indian Accent! offered $5,000 in grant $$ if I gave them my checking account. numbers Voice Over Internet Protocol India, Washington D.C.

Got a call today (02/24/06) from "Robbie Frazier" calling from the "Government Grant Processing Center". Although the name is VERY American, the man had an Indian accent. (I lived in India for 3 years......I have yet to meet an Indian with the family name of "Frazier"!) He told me that there was $5,000 of Federal Grant money waiting for me. All I had to do was give him my checking account info (routing number, account number). Upon asking, he told me the $$$ would be wired from "The Federal Bank of Washington". I checked up and there is no Federal Bank of Washington. I asked for his website, he gave me the URL: www.fedgrants.info.com All this site lists is several companies that offer federal grant money. This is NOT the specific site of "Government Grant Processing Center".

I am an Officer in the U.S. Army, Intelligence Branch. (Rank: 0-5/LTC) I can trace ALL phone calls that come into my home phone. I was NOT able to trace his call because he is using VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol). Unfortunately, anyone using VOIP, it cannot be traced. SO, even though he SAID he was in D.C., he could have been anywhere. I called a buddy of mine over at the U.S. Secret Service who is in charge of internet fraud/crimes and he verified my assumption that anyone using VOIP can NOT be traced. Rather frustrating!

I told "Robbie" that I needed to check up on a few things and that he should call me back. He said he would call back in a half hour. I shall see if he calls back and take it from there........
