My wife had a phone call to view FREE Disney books. They came and were of poor quality so we did not want them.
We were billed but I refused to pay so I told Grolier (via letter) as no phone number is published, to collect or I pass them to a Childrens hospital. They collected very efficiently and would you believe it. I am still being billed for books I have not got.
I am now with the debt adminstrators and may go to court but I will never pay any monies for books I do not have.
All I get from Grolier is bill statements, no letters or replys to my letters I have sent.
I have had stress and hassle from day 1 with this rip off company and will go to court and counter sue if I have to for harassment.

After the threatening letter from Groliers Solicitors saying " we owed them money for outstanding books " , I sent a nice letter back saying " see you in court " !!!
No reply from the solicitors for a month BUT a letter from debt admin acting on behalf of the solicitors.!
I returned their call................they gave me a Phone Number ( I was amazed ) to speak to Grolier and after a quick chat admitting that I had returned the books and will not pay any monies for books I haven't got , the man said I will clear the account.!!!
So I have come to the conclusion that Grolier will prey on the "weak" with red letters and debt collectors etc but they could save themselves a lot of money if they gave everyone a customer service telephone number.
PROBLEM SORTED.
