GSI, Grant Service Incorporated Made a false claim to guranteed government money. ripoff Nationwide

I received a phone call in October from a GSI agent by the name of Chelsea explaining I was eligible for government money up to $6,000.00. In order to do so I would have to pay $298.00 for the fee of processing the paperwork. She explained it that it was similar to going to an IRS agent to do your taxes. She went on to say that when I received the paperwork, it would indicated the amount I would obtain and the only thing I had to do was sign the papers and return them to the adress given on the paper work. I asked if this was a scam and she told me no. I believed her. I gave her my routing # and bank account #. At the time I was desparate for money and believed her gurantee.

At the end of November, the only thing I received from the company was a book filled with addresses on where to apply for grants. When I called and asked about the paperwork, the agent told me that was it. I had to do all the work myself (fill out the application and write the letter). The agent told me there was grants for everyone. I applied to several agencies. I received no response from two of them and one rejection letter. When I called to speak with Chelsea I was told I was not able to and could not be connected to her. I received minimal assistance and no money.

I am disappointed that companies would take advantage of people who are desparate and struggling for money. Recently, when I tried to call GSI, all I got was a message to send a letter of complaint. I want my money back and this company to stop gaining a profit from people's desparation.
