This woman called me tryin' to tell me that I qualified for a Federal grant. Now I've been fillin' out all types of applications for student aid so I didn't think this was fake. She a thick accent of some sort and told me that her name was Tina James. I thought that was kind of odd right there.

She told me that I was going to be awarded a $6,000 grant from the Federal government Sounds good to me right? Wrong. She asks me for my bank account number because she said that the grant would be deposited directly into my account...not sensing that there was something wrong I went ahead and gave it to her.

Trust me though...this woman was no amatuer...she was good. Later in the phone call she informs me that I will be receiving paper work in the mail and that I was to fill it out, send it in, and then I'll receive the grant. That sounded fine, too. But then the lady, and this is when she starts to slip up, told me that she would be making a withdrawal for a $298 transaction fee. I was like...hold up...why don't you just take the transaction fee out of the $6000 you're giving me.

She said that they weren't the ones giving me the money and that the Federal government was giving me the grant. Since they were contracted by the Federal government and the transaction fee is one of the ways they made money. I told her that she wouldn't get $298 from me until I got the $6000 dollars from the government. She was gettin' all irritated and frustrated.

So I stalled her for awhile askin' her questions, which she couldn't answer, so that I could get to my computer. I told her that I was going to look up her company on the net. She was like....why are you going to do that? I was like...cause I don't really trust you.

Hahaha. The only thing that came up on Google.com was something about GSI Grant Services Inc. being a scam from this site. Nice job RipoffReport. So I told her that RipoffReport came up. She tried to say that it was a prank by some kids and that I should check MSN.com I was like...sorry I only use Google. Hahaha. I asked her for the company web address and she said they didn't have one.

I asked what kind of company doesn't have a website. So she told me that it was under construction. So I asked for the URL. She didn't have one to give me. Usually you can bring up a URL even if the website is under construction. Stupid woman. Screw her. She tried to put me through some recording to get me to agree to have them withdraw money from my account.

She was like...I'm going to record some questions that I need to ask you and I want you to answer them yes, or no since the recording only allows 90 seconds. She asked me, "Are you Charles Adams at 1253 Suchandsuch Drive, etc.?" I was like, "Yes."

The she asked me, "Do you give GSI Grant Services Inc. the authorization to withdraw $298?" I said, "Yes...but not until you deposit $6000 into that my same account." She stopped the recording and was like...I told you to answer yes or no. I said...yeah you did, but one of those was not a yes or know question.

I told her that I was going to call her back after I talked to my bank. She refused to give me a number to her extention so that I could call her back. So I told her that she could call me back in ten minutes.

Bank of America says that a lot of people have gotten the same GSI Grant Services Inc. withdrawal for $298, but have not heard complaints yet. They also said that they do not recognize GSI as a ligitiment company.

Thats too bad for a lot of people.

Good thing I didn't give them authorization to withdraw money out of my account, however they do have the information to do so....which kind of sucks. But oh well....not much there for them to take anyway. Hahaha.

The woman did call me back and asked me if I was ready to continue... I said No... I don't think so. Click. She hung up right away. Wow... that's professionalism.

Watch out for these mother f#@kers.
