Metabofuel1000 ripoff American Fork Utah

Metabofuel advertised a free sample of their product, the stipulation being that I would be responsible for paying for shipping. The shipping cost was $4.97. I used the toll free number provided to CALL the sales department and verify that the only charges to my card would be for $4.97. They assured me that this was correct. I recieved my free sample and was not impressed.

Later in the month I noticed that my card had been debited for $99.98 from this company. I tried to call the toll free number and they informed me that they were simply a call service and could not connect me with a manager. I left a message because they assured me that a manager would contact me. I waited until the next day and called back. I left another message. The next day, having not heard back from them, I contacted my bank. I was forced to terminate my debit card and have a new one sent to me, limiting my access to my own money. At that point, I opened a claim with the Better Business Bureau of Utah.

For months now I have been bouncing emails back and forth with the Better Business Bureau, this company could not care less about it. My bank just sent me a letter letting me know that because of hidden terms and conditions on the company website for Metabofuel, there would be no way to refund my money.

ADDING INSULT, I have never recieved the additional products that the company charged me for. I tried to call the telephone number that the BBB provided and it has been disconnected. I have not ONCE spoken with a representative from this company. They do not return phone calls, they do not provide telephone numbers or email address to reach them.

THEY STEAL FROM YOU WITHOUT A SECOND THOUGHT AND THEN REFUSE TO EVEN TALK TO YOU. I am a college student. I'm up early in the morning. I then go wait tables and then I bartend until 2:00 in the morning. I get home around 3:00 and I wake up at 7:00 every day. I just wanted a little extra energy. I work so hard for my money and they stole it, they didn't send me any product and they won't even talk to me about it.
