MWI Homeworks fraudulent billing Connecticut

I first noticed a charge to my credit card in April for $9.95 from MWI. I buy a lot of things on the internet and just assumed this one of them, even though I normally keep a very close watch on charges to my card. When I saw it again in May, I knew something was wrong.

After looking them up on the net, I knew that I was being charged for a service that I had not enrolled in. As it turns out, I had been charged for $9.95 for 5 months after making a purchase from the internet based company Stacks & Stacks! After talking to two customer service reps from MWI and my credit card company, I am being reimbursed. I

did have to explain to MWI that I did not authorized my credit card number for their use or enroll in any of their programs. Nor did I received any information by mail or email that said that I had enrolled in one of their programs. Buyer beware! Make sure that your purchases online don't enroll you in programs that charge you without your release!
