A magazine salesman came to my house on Dec 5, 2005 claiming to be a student selling magazines. He said if he sold the most he would win a cruise somewhere. I told him I wasn't interested, but he persisted until I finally decided to order one.

I ordered National Geographic magazine and gave the guy (M Jones) $38.00 cash. He gave me a reciept and said my perscription would start in a month. I still have not recieved even one issue. I am disgusted and do not know what to do about this.

It is not the kids fault it is the managers. They grip at the kids if we do Not sale the magazines I know this because I am an ex-employee. It was a fun job and I met alot of nice people. It takes forever to get your magazine yes and I am sorry. The managers tell us what to say and they have bought the kids alcohol before and the kids do drugs well most of them. I am sorry to anyone who helps these kids because this company should be stopped.

OK so the company is not the greatest i will flat out say 90% is a scam..... But no manager ever bought me drugs or beer..... They dont do that.... Most managers were totally against drugs i will say that.... There were a few that smoked pot but lets face it more then half this country smokes weed ITS BETTER THEN CRACK.... If you were not 21 you were not bought ALCOHOL unless you were a female and caught BOB at the BAR... CLARISSA U KNOW THAT U HAD HIT THE BAR BEFORE I SEEN YA... The only reason ALCOHOL was purchased for UNDERAGE GIRLS was b/c certain MANAGERS wanted into their pants.....

First, this post is about a gentleman who was ripped off like thousands of others after doing business with Vinnie Pitts employees. Richard-you must stop buying from door to door salespeople...their are too few reputable companies approaching the general public through direct sales anymore...because outfits like Palmetto have been scamming folks for years and hiring morons like Sean who sadly think half the American population is as high as he is.The next time they knock, and they will...ask for their permit. They must carry it with them, so do not settle for the line that their boss has it. In fact, none will be produced-and call the police.Getabunch.
