Providian Financial,Providian Payment Processing ripoff rip-off scam liars Manchester New Hampshire

This Charge Card Company told me that they would help me reastablish my credit, since I had to claim bankrupcy almost 6 years ago.When my husband died suddenly at the age of 42. They told me my finance charges would go down as I proved to them that I was paying my bills on time. Well I paid my bills on time so well, even paying more then they asked for.That they kept giving me more credit,which I still paid on time. I have been with this Company for at least 4 years. When about 3 months ago I became totally disabled, I asked them to lower my finance charge's. Then I was told that they periodicly check accounts to see if the person should get an upgrade (got plenty of them) and that they also check to see if your interest payments should be lowered! If I deserved upgrades then why was I not eligable to have my finance charges lowered? I got the same answer that is up above! I continued to pay them though I had to make the minimum payment's, instead of paying extra as I had before. I have been trying to get these dishonest ass holes to lower my finance charges since I became sick about 6 months ago to no avail. I just keep getting told that they lower your finance charges when they review your chart, just like with credit increases. Like I said I got pleanty of those, but now at one of the worst times in my life, when I'm getting $575.40 a month and also have a disabled son. They will do nothing about lowering my finance charges. They lied to me to get me to believe that thier finance charges would go down, so that I would accept thier credit cards! Thier finance charges are 23.99% and on the renewal date they charge $52.00 a year, there late fee is $25.00 and if you call to pay them by phone they charge another $9.95. How they expect anyone to get there bill down is beyond me. I have had it with there lie's and I am not going to pay them another payment. I will Dept. Consolidate if I have to or they can take me to court. With the amount of money I'm getting right now I do not think any Judge in thier right mind would side with them! Please what ever you do, do not and I repete do not do business with this company, unless you want to be screwed like me!
