I just wanted to agree and also comment on what Teach Me To Trade gave me in regards to learning to trade. When starting the classes with the initial free 3 hour into and then $200 3 day taster, it was amazing that there were people in the class that thought that for $200 and 3 days you were going to be given the key to financial independance.
I think the confusion is that the TMTT people should come out and say 'It is going to cost you at least $10K for the cost of mentors and classes and on top of that you have to work your ass off charting and practicing constantly to get really good, then if you have the personality to contain your own personal fear and greed you will then become stupidly rich'.
Does the above sound like a University degree cost? Even if you want to be a plumber, it will take more than $200 and a 3 day course to do it, why do people think that they would be sitting pool-side at the four-seasons for the same weekend.
Personally I have been trading with the TMTT methods for about 18 months. My new hobby is charting. No sodoku, no ballroom dance, or who can embarrassed the most in 3 minutes tv shows...just charting. If the goal is to make loads of cash, i'm afraid it still takes work.
By the way, I quit my job and make mid-6 figures per year trading from what I learned from Teach Me To Trade in May 2007. Happy trading!
