Security Moving And Storage Felt like a complete SCAM - Very Unprofessional Bayonne New Jersey

I used Security Moving and Storage for a move in 2006. Brenda was great when I was making arrangements and the movers were good also. However, in the middle of the move, the movers said that someone at Headquarters wanted to talk to me.

When I called in, the man would not give his name but said he was an owner, told me that I would have to pay cash and could not use a credit card as I had wanted. When I told him that I was in the middle of my move and that I didn't have the cash on me, his response was "banks are open until 3:30 - you go!!"

He told me that his credit card transmission tower was down and that he couldn't process my credit card so I HAD to pay cash. I asked to talk to Brenda who I had spoken to the day before about using my credit card and he got very nasty with me and said "what are you, friends?" and he refused to let me talk to her.

He finally gave the phone to another man who said that I could pay half in cash and half on the credit card. I agreed only because I've heard of stories where they won't let you have your stuff because you didn't comply. I felt like this was a complete scam!!
