Hello
I am happy to report that Consumer Affairs in different states of Australia are investigating Storesonline activities in this country!

The West Australian dept has apparently raided one of their seminars there and Radio Stations in ACT are broadcasting warnings about their scams!

Yet again they have sent out invitations to their "free Lunches' using the name Iregnow!
They have targeted Yahoo users and Emailcash members as well as postal invitations with advertising their seminars!.

If there is any legitimacy to their operations, then why the need to keep changing their name?
Now they are using the name Iregnow (aka Storesonline aka Imergent Inc aka Inet aka Galaxy Mall!}
How many more names are they operating their criminal actuivities as?

I URGE ALL Australians to bombard your local radio stations and ask them to report on SOL!

Even go along to a SEMINAR in your state amnd hand out flyers!

Lets show this huge Ameerican outfit that we Aussies woint stand for their shonky business practises!

A complete list of SOL's Aliases

AUTHOR: Etwana - Fresno (U.S.A.)

Glenda:

That's incredible news!

While we're on the topic of names, it appears Imergent is trying to mislead the public yet again with a slew of new names. Don't be fooled, all of the following names and their associated websites are registered to Storesonline. Preceded by a www and followed by .com, here's the list:

storesonlineresources
estoresuccess
storesonlinecomplaint
storesonlinesite
storesonlinesuccess
storesonlinewebsite
storesonlineusa
storesonlinehost
storesonlinetutorial
storesonlinedomestic
storesonlinehelp
storesonlinesupport
storesonlinecomplaintsite
storesonlinemerchant
websitecashflow
webbuildingapplication
estoreglobal

A quick trip to the Whois database will confirm registration and ownership of these new names.
All these new sites look like a desperate attempt by Imergent to influence search engine results and bury bad press, compaints, etc.

Consumer Affairs Not Much Help Here. This company is the devil itself.

AUTHOR: Stuart - Dandenong (Australia)

I was also taken for a ride by StoresOnline, for AUD$3898 for 3 websites, not counting the $150 per site activation fee due when each site goes live.

I had a 5 month fight to get a chargeback through my bank on grounds of misrepresentation.
This is because I was verbally assured that I would get a set of functions I had as a checklist, and went to the workshop day and specifically asked about and was promised were included - all lies. They're just standard template websites, and the company refused to address my complaints about what I had been promised, and refused to refund, sticking to its "all sales are final" line.

Now the bad news - the Victorian Consumer Affairs department told me they could not help me in this for 2 reasons. First, the sites are sold as business websites, i.e. business products, and so Victorian consumer protection laws do not apply.

Second, StoresOnline is an american company with no Australian base, and so is outside their jurisdiction (which is limited to Victoria anyway).

I'm glad to hear they're getting bad press, but I fear W.A. may not be able to take any direct action either.

They're doing their 90 minute Internet Marketing conference promotions in Melbourne next week: Wed 18 May, Mercure Hotel, 13 Spring St. 12pm and 6pm; Thurs 19 May, Holiday Inn, Spencer St (same times); Friday 20 May, Marriott Hotel, cnr Exhibition & Lonsdale (same times); and Sat 21 May, Hotel Ibis, Therry St, 9am, 12pm and 6pm.
But best to try and get the dates and locations for the workshop days, and hand flyers out there first thing in the morning to the people who've got to the point where the sales pitch begins, and need warning at that point. I want to do a simple flyer, "WARNING:

Don't sign with StoresOnline, visit www.RipoffReport.com and search on StoresOnline to see how this company rips people off". Black ink, yellow paper, 4 to a page, cheap and easy. Hope to see some of you there supporting me with simliar flyers if I can track down the dates.

This company is the devil itself.

#3 Consumer Suggestion

I went to the stores online introductory seminar last night

AUTHOR: Mark - Doncaster (U.S.A.)

Hi, I am curious to find out more about how storesonline have ripped people off. I note that they have their all day seminars in Melbourne on 3 june 2005, 4 june 2005 and 6 june 2005. They all start at 8:30AM, and I only know the location of the following ones:

Friday 3rd June 2005 - Park Hyatt Melbourne located at 1 Parliament Sq East Melbourne 3002

Monday 6th June 2005 - Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre Cnr Spencer and Flinders Streets.

I hope to speak to someone who has gotten ripped off so as to be able to make my own mind up.
