Supply Distribution & Information Network is a toner pirate out to defraud and con unsuspecting small businesses ripoff Los Angeles California

Somehow Supply Distribution Network found out what copier company services our copiers (computer hackers??) and called our branch office. They spoke to a person in accounting who had only days earlier put a request in for copier toner.

Representing themselves to be associated with our copier vendor, they led her to believe that they were following up to her request for toner. They arranged for two cartridges to be shipped for $168.86 each! The day the toner was delivered, Supply Distribution Network called our corporate office. They spoke to me (someone who is authorized to order supplies) and said they were following up to a service call (which I had placed).

They then proceeded to immediately tell me that they are sending out two toner cartridges. I told them I don't need toner. The man on the phone immediately hung up. Then I became suspicious. I called my copier vendor; they informed me that a “Toner Pirate” had tricked us.

The cartridges that we were charged $168.86 for are really only $45! I called the number on the packing slip to return the cartridges. There's an 18% restocking fee. I have to send them a check and then they'll supply directions to return the cartridges. I have to pay $60.79 to these crooks, besides paying for the shipping to return the product. And they didn't even send the right cartridges!
