I also have been a victim of support Kids. They ride on the back of public information. They take credit for collecting child support without doing anything for it. Their website clearly states that they collect their fee ONLY if they had a hand in helping collect the child support. This is total BS. They take familes much needed funds to the tune of 34 cents on the dollar. If I can help one single parent from being vicitmized by this low-life company, it will all be worth my time and efforts. I have also found out that the CEO of Support Kids is in bed with the President of the United States. That's right, kiddies. There are hundreds of civil action lawsuits that have been filed and I have come across at least on Federal lawsuit. If anyone is looking for backers in a class action suit against Support Kids...give me a call. I've succeeded in stopping their theft but I'm sure I am one in tens of thousands who have not been able to put a stop to their under-handed ways. Shame on you, Support Kids. Children are starving because of your greed.

How did you stop them?

You stated that you stopped Supportkids. How did you get them to cancel your contract. I have a contract with them and they are refusing to cancel my contract. Even though I have proof that they did not locate my NCP and that they dont do anything to support them taking 34% of every payment.

I stopped them by signing and having a affidavit of revocation executed against Support Kids. Seems they don't have too much power if you find just ONE person inside who will do the right thing. I have a name and phone number of such a person. I will be more than happy to supply it. Use the email provided and I will give it to you.

I need info on how to cancel this contract

Please help me!! They are taking my money and didn't help me with the process of collecting. I need this stopped and would like to stop them from doing this to other desperate single mothers needing help. Contact me with my username at yahoo. Help is greatly appreciated. Questions and Concerns

I have signed a Revocation of Release of Information, Revocation for POA and I have filed a compliant with my Attorney General. The CSED offices for state I live in does not deal with third party agencies and they do not accept any paperwork from them as well. Therefore they will not release any information to Support Kids. My question to the Author is have they left you alone once you signed all the proper documents to revoke their contract? The other is do they still hold you liable even though they havent collected a dime for you?

A couple of months ago I sent in the revocation of release of authorization to my state as well as the state of Texas, in addition I wrote to Supportkids explaining how I felt they breached the terms of our contract and included a copy to them. While I did get payments forwarded to me and away from them, they still continued not only to call me insistently, which was interesting considering how many times I insisted I speak to a supervisor and one was not available, they started calling! However, they also called and called and called the non custodial parent and his employer which just created more havoc. And so far, they still claim I am bound to my contract and will not be released and that I owe them. Would like to hear from the others that have taken this route, how long before you had them release your case or do you just continue to ignore them?

I URGE everyone to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, you can do so online and it is very easy, this company was rated by the BBB and had over 100 cases going, the BBB even met with someone from their company about changing the wording on their paperwork back in 07 or 08, this was on the report that BBB shows on their website, however it has been down for a couple of weeks as they are "updating their records on this company", I hope everyone will take this extra step to report them with the BBB and maybe they will have their rating removed, it would be a small step in helping get someones attention on this company.

Thank you for your response. So far they have not contacted me or harrassed me, I did however hear from the Attorney General and hopefully they will be able to resolve my situation with this shady company. I do urge anyone that is dealing with this company to contact their Attorney General. Mine has moved on this pretty quickly. Support Kids still has not collected anything for me as of today. Does anyone know if Support Kids can report anything to your credit? I have not heard of this happening with all the complaints I have read about.

Tina will you keep me posted with your case and let me know how things are moving along and I will do the same. My ex has not paid in years and if he can evade paying a bill collector I am sure he is going to evade this company as well. Did you contact your ex and tell him not to pay anything to this company? I am unable to locate mine. But please keep me updated. I would appreciate it.

janis,

where do i sign up for the class action suit against Support kids. I've had enough, of them and of the state workers that are suppose to be handling the case. i want my files opened. i want to see for myself what they have been putting in my file. i've talked to a lawyer and all he can say is it would cost me more to sue than i would collect because they are exempt from prosicution. what a joke our whole legal system is these days.

     Please help me, your email and phone has been disabled from the page, my email is (((Redacted))). Two years or so ago I signed up out of desperation. Montel Williams was on t.v. promoting it and their brochure sounded promising.  I signed up for $10,800.00 the amount due me at the time.  Since associating myself with them the amount of support arrears has grown to nearly $50,000.  Recently, I myself, on my own created a motion and filed it locally and had to represent myself after they refused to do anything but an occasional telephone call to the payor.  Their efforts, if you can call an occasional phone call efforts, produced nothing. My efforts alone have now gotten me some money for my children and these people deserve nothing.  They expect me to send them 30% of my childrens money that they desperately need as we live well below the poverty line.  Months ago I sent a letter to opt out. and they refuse verbally and will not give me written response.  Shame on them for literally stealing child support from the poorest and the neediest,myself included.  I need help to rid myself of them.  Hoping to attach myself to a class action law suit. To say I am upset is the understatement of the year. Please, help me and maybe I can help you with something in return!
