As an outsource Customer Service Rep. for T-Mobile I have noticed a recent upsurge in unwanted billing from the 'other service providers' allied with T-Mobile.
The companies like jamster/mblox etc who can send content such as games and ringtones to your cellphone and bill you through the company much like 1-900 toll numbers.
Many customers are calling in to question these charges, claiming they never signed up for them. We have a tool on the system to 'blacklist' or 'block' these providers from accessing a customers account and billing them.
Recently, one of the biggest providers, Jamster/Mblox has been REMOVED from the list. We are no longer able to block these at the customers request, they must do it themselves. This action convinces me T-Mobile and Jamster know exactly what they're doing and are purposely reaping huge revenues through peoples mistakes or ignorance.
