TEK Systems Ripoff Discriminates based on Religion illegal practices Salt Lake City Utah

Here is a copy of the advertisement for an opening with this company... it clearly states that they discriminate on the basis of religion. This ad was cut and paste from Careerbuilder.com and has not been modified except for the asterics to highlight the most offensive phrase I have seen in print for a long time! If you don't believe me, do a search for Peoplesoft in the Utah area. I can't believe they can do this... why don't they just put in the ad, Jewish need not apply, or Christians need not apply! I will NEVER deal with this company in any way and urge everyone I can reach to do the same!

? Must be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in good standing
? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
? Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in software development. Team leadership / management experience required
? Proven experience leading Peoplesoft Team
? Proven development experience with J2EE
? Proven experience developing using Agile Software Development methodologies such as XP
? Excellent documentation skills
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
? Excellent time management skills
? Ability to juggle many tasks and management driven requirements

Tek Systems is a Contractor. They employ many people and then contract them out on a job by job basis, the individual companies or organizations they contract to are who set the job requirements. In this case it appears the job is for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It is not unusual for a church to require people who work for it to be members, nor is it illegal. Tek systems does not discriminate, they just find the right people to fill the job position their client has.
