MANY people can tell you Teresa Scordo AKA Teresa Alexander is a scam artist. First of all, she may claim to be a, or have in her employ, talent scout. THERE IS NO SUCH THING ANYWHERE!!! Rest assured, there is enough prospective talent that LEGITIMATE agents, casting directors, directors and producers DO NOT need to search ("scout") or advertise (with cheesy radio ads)for talent. Anyone who comes looking for you is only looking for your money. When Teresa ran JRP, she held cattle calls at area hotels, claiming to have brought in agents and producers from the world of entertainment. There were people that were brought in, but they were not in search of talent, Teresa simply paid them to be there (this is a scam that is used ad nausuem). The purpose of these cattle calls are to build up the hopes of the prospective talent. They invite you in to "audition", but at the end they ask for money to pay for classes, photographs and representation. IN TEXAS, IT IS A RIGHT TO WORK STATE AND YOU SHOULD NEVER PAY FOR SOMEONE TO REPRESENT YOU.

Teresa shut down JRP to the surprise of everyone involved, students and coaches alike. She signed up students THE DAY BEFORE shutting the doors permanently. The coaches were never paid for their work, nor were students and their parents refunded after recieving next to nothing. The advice she provides is misinformation (coastal cities are not better markets for acting and modeling, unless it is LA, Miami or NY).

If you are approached by Scordo/Alexander, anyone from John Robert Powers or a so called Talent Scout...RUN!!!! Do not give these dirtbags your money.
