On 2-4-07 I placed an order for a logo from thelogoloft.com. I immediately got an email confirmation of my order. They immediately charged my credit card $169.00. On 2-5-07 I got a phone call from The Logo Loft and they stated that my logo proofs were scheduled to be provided to by 2-8-07. I explained to the woman on the phone that I wanted to make sure and speak to the designers before they started work as promised on their website (http://www.thelogoloft.com/howitworks.html, "The Process",QUOTE #3 After conformation of your order, your team of artists will call prior to beginning to clarify the project. END QUOTE), she assured me a designer would call me before they started work. I did not hear from anyone again until I got an email on 2-8-07 stating that the design was taking longer than expected and my proofs would be ready on 2-9-07.

I immediately responded to the email and explained that no one had called me per my request on 2-5-07 and via their written policy to speak voice before starting work. Instead of responding, I got an email on 2-9-07 at the end of the day with a link to see the proofs. I sent repeated emails to the logo loft expressing my displeasure and on 2-11-07 I sent an email to Lucy Carr - Vice President, as well as cc'ed to the managers, expressing my concerns and unhappyness. I got a phone call on 2-12-07 from Stephanie who promised to immediately assign me new designers and promised they would call me back immediately.

Despite numerous emails to Lucy and everyone else at the company, no one returns my emails or phone calls. I have demanded a full refund, yet no one will even respond.

Had I simply checked their Better Business Bureau report, you would see the massive number of complaints they have.

#1 Consumer Suggestion

Contact your credit card company

AUTHOR: Jennifer - California (U.S.A.)

and explain the situation, you may be able to get the charges reversed as you clearly did not get what you paid for. You should call them right away and you can also contact the editor for more information on reversing credit card charges if you have a problem with the cc company. There are links somewhere on this site, you could look for those as well. Don't let them get away with this. If their website states exactly what you were supposed to get, and you did not get it as they stated, and you are not satisfied with the way they are dealing with it then you did not get what you paid for and the cc company should reverse the charges.
