The Sharper Image Merchadise certificates not honored Internet

Sharpe image is not accepting Merchandise certificates the issue when you return an item, or Gift cards, etc. They are accepting new orders, which if you return you'll get paper slip ie, merchandise certificate that is worthless at this point. WARN THE CONSUMER< DO NOT BUY UNTIL THEIR BANKRUPTCY IS FINALIZED, if ever again.
You will not find out about this on their website, and only know about it when your items do not arrive. Then you have to call customer service, whom will ask for a credit card to ship your items as your store credit is not being accepted.

THIS SHOULD BE ILLEGAL for them to accept orders, and not honor payments you have already made.
