Purchased Don Lapre's Universal Business Strategies in October of 2002. I didn't do much with it. In November of 2002 USB contacted me about purchasing Web addresses with a guarantee of traffic.

"This means that if your website generates even a single hit less than you purchased, just call our office right away and we'll resubmit your original order over the next year, at absolutely no cost to you. Or we'll refund you're original TRAFFICGUARANTEE purchase price." TrafficGuarantee.net

In November of 2003 I called USB and told them that I felt like I was being ripped off. They assurred me that I wasn't. After all I had the TrafficGuarantee.

I received a letter from them in March of 2003. Shortly after that I was no longer able to contact them by phone. Numbers were no longer in use.

Yes I was ripped off...

#1 Consumer Suggestion

GET THE INFORMATION BEFORE MAKING A BUSIESS DECISION.

AUTHOR: Christopher - Mesa (U.S.A.)

Once again, I see complaints on people that are getting ripped off that involves a website. I have posted many articles regarding information so I figured You and other readers might learn a lesson and save yourself a heart ache.

When dealing with Companies here is my number one suggestion.

GET THE INFORMATION BEFORE MAKING A BUSIESS DECISION.

Regarding purchasing websites, as a Designer and Hosting company, I agree that people get ripped off many times. Some companies lease templates, so you can only use them while your hosted with their company and charge you a high monthly fee, It is terrible and hideous why so many companies who use template sites charge so much for them.

Other companies charge you exporant fees and then charge you for hosting fees as well. While other companies will charge a less expensive fee, however charge you a more expensive fee for hosting. As a FREE service, any one can contact my company (sales@cbecentral.com or www.cbecentral.com) for information and the cost regarding building a website. Keep in mind, the cheapest is not always the best. I wont go into it here, but Like its been said before, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR, I have had customers go to a cheaper venue only to find out they were terrible in customer service and their "Policies" made it very difficult to make changes to their products/services.

Final Note:

DO YOUR RESEARCH ON ANY COMPANY YOU PLAN ON INVESTING OR GIVING MONEY TO.
