Wachovia Bank They charge NSF when the money is in there with excuse online is NOT up to date YET MY checkbook is! Hold payckecks that have been deposited for over a yr.NEVER been held and are local ripoff Fort Lauderdale Florida

We have been a Loyal customer of First Union/Wachovia bank for over 10 yrs. In the past 5 months they have have held my paycheck (which BTW they have never done) it is a local check on a Dr. office and they had NEVER had a problem with this check.

I called and went into the bank their reply was you "Can you get direct deposit." So in turn I went to my boss and went and got it direct deposit. Fixed right NO! NOW i t's the NSF overdraft fees when MY checkbook and MY online clearly shows I am NOT over drawn I have the money. There response "You can not go by our online it is not the same as OUR records, maybe you miss counted on your check book!" What then why have it and my check book shows the money there??

OK if the online is NOT correct why have it? Also I have purposely deposited cash before the deadline at the teller Response from Wachovia " We can not tell when money is deposited" well it is on MY deposit ticket! I think they should be audited and this pratice should be aginst the law. I know they make their money on NSF and OD fees but WE the customer are getting Ripped off!
