Walmart Financial- Sugare Kline Sent a letter saying I won$57,000 in a sweepstakes and sent me a check for $3985.60 to cover fees and taxes. Canton Massachusetts

I was sent a letter saying I was one of 20 people who were randomly selected in a sweepstakes to win $57,000. The check was for the amount of $3985.60 and the letter was from Walmart Financial, which they claimed to be a part of Wal mart corporation. It said participants were selected through a computerized ballot system drawn from Readers Digest, Publishers Clearing House, Online Sweepstakes, Internet Games, etc.

They give you a number to call, which i did, and they told me to deposit the check into my account and after i did that then i would have to call them back so they could send me the rest of my winnings.

I was very skeptical about this, so I was asking the man all sorts of questions to catch him off guard. I was asking him questions to where they were located, and at first he told me New York, and then i asked him what the heading on the letter said and he told me something different, and other questions just to get him thinking that hey maybe these people aren't going to fall for this!

So remember what your parents told you when you were younger, "If it seems too good to be true, it probably is then."
