I am writing to because of an unfair child support law that is still on the books. Many others and I believe that this law should be erased from the books. I am order to pay child support for a child that does not belong to me. The mother lied to me, and then six years later the truth was told to me. I stop paying support money. I was hurt, but I thought that was the end of it.

            Fast forward to February 01, 2010 I was summoned to court for a paternity test and support. At the time I was not worried i was just confused about why would the mother after all these years would do this after what she told me.  

            I did not have a lawyer, but at the time, I did not think that I needed one.

By the time, I left the courtroom I was order to pay child support. The Judge told me it did not matter if the child does not belong to me or not. The judge said that the law said that I assumed paternity by paying child support more than six years ago. I told the Judge that I was lied to and that is why I paid it, and I would not have if I were told the truth. The Judge said that it did not matter.

Sir, all I ask for is a DNA test. I believe a court's denial of DNA testing may violate my constitutional right to equal protection and the legal system itself may be condoning fraud.
