Betamax GmbH & Co. KG somehow gained access to my PayPal account and charged $1000.60 against my PayPal Credit. PayPal called me to verify whether this was a suspicious transaction and I immediately filed a dispute. Howevere, PayPal would not let me access my account to de-link the bank accounts and credit card accounts I had listed with them, nor would they let me close my PayPal account. I had to freeze my bank accounts and cancel my credit cards. I Googled Betamax GmbH & Co.KG and found numerous reports of similar attacks on PayPal users. PayPal would not believe me that many other people have had the same experience with this company. Luckily, this morning, PayPal resolved the dispute and I was allowed to close my PayPal account. I will not do business with PayPal again and advise other people to de-link whatever financial information they have with PayPal immediately as there has been a security breach into PayPal from BetaMax GmbH & Co.KG

I have used paypal, for years, only way to gain access to your money in there, is to provide the information to the withdrawing agent. Somehow your info was either stolen from your PC or you accidently gave it away.
