Credit one bank after card account was closed thanks to OCC 10 months later credit one bank sent it back to 3 differnt collection agency and the phone calls began again, Internet

i tried to re-build my credit by getting a credit one bank card this was a BIG mistake.I had the card almost 1 year and was promised that by making on time payments would increase my credit score.I never saw Credit One Bank increasing my score.I had to take time off from work due to cancer and tried to call Credit One's at the number on my card but it was routed to India and they screamed at me that I could not file bankruptcy which I told them I'm not I just need to use the insurance that I had put on my card to make my payments until I went back to work.

The time I started calling them to the time they sent it to collections was about 6 months of fighting with them,then I found the number/website for controller of the currency (WAC) and I filed a complaint with them and they got my insurance to pay off the card and issues a statement to all the credit agency's that the debit was taken care of or so I thought.

About 9 months after this was done I applied for a home loan and ran my credit report and they said Credit One Bank had not been paid and now 3 collectors had it.I started getting 10 calls per day from the collectors and 2 of them stopped calling after I sent them a copy of the letter that the WAC sent me.The last one still wont believe that the debt is payed off and he keeps calling me at 8am,I have re-opened a complaint with the WAC in Nov 2011.I checked my credit report again and all 3 bill collectors are on it as well as Credit one Bank.My balance was $250.00 they now say its $850.00.I'm still waiting for a answer from WAC and this has costed me a home loan.
