Emerge Credit Card Company, Emerge - providian ripoff Columbus Georgia

I make payments every month, pay extra every other month. This balance will not go down. They receive my payment on time and still get charged late fees and over the limit fees. The account has been closed for several years and they will not drop the finance charges or the over limit fee. Have been harassed at work two to three times a day on this account. They say if you set up payments every month i.e. $120. then we can work on getting more of it going towards principle but I did that for two months and the balance did not go down. Talking to the customer service people are a joke. You ask simple questions about the account and they dont have that information, or put you on hold then come back with attitude that you disrupted there day. If any one is going to sue this company please let me know I will go right along with you. All I want to do is wash my hands of this account.
