The ONLY way I will install any software on my computer is if I have it checked out first by my knowledgeable and well-trained computer expert friends I have.

You would be amazed at how much spyware and malware and other intrusive and untrustworthy devices packaged as legitimate software in counterfeited packaging are sold to unsuspecting buyers who THINK they are getting the REAL DEAL CHEAP or or suspect they are getting bootleg software or unauthorized copies of software and not really caring about that either.

WHEN WHAT THEY MIGHT ACTUALLY BE GETTING IS SPYWARE OR SOME OTHER MALWARE THAT APPEARS NOT TO BE DOING ANYTHING once you install it but is actually searching for your identity and other personal things about you that it can find, etc.

That's the same reason I NEVER download programs directly from the Internet cause you just can't trust people.

I would take my computer down to some folks I trusted who KNOW about computers and have them look at it and make SURE that program you installed is DOING NOTHING AT ALL.

The program will erase your hard drive.

The "uninstall" program does a DELTREE.

Instead of simply deleting the three files it installs, it amazingly does a DELTREE on the entire directory.

If you dont use the "default" location, it does not create a subfolder for itself. So... in my case it the three program files were installed at the ROOT of "program files" .

When I "uninstalled" I watched helplessly as it began a DELTREE of "program files" deleting ALL MY PROGRAMS. There was NO "cancel" button. I finally realize that I could remove the battery on my laptop, but most of my programs were already gone.

I called them... and they have the rudest, most incompetent people in the world. They insisted that the program would not delete anything from my computer, unless I "registered" it. They were rude and clueless.
