JP Media - Interactive Audiotext Services ripoff $96.00 Fraudulent Credit Card (Debit Card) Charge Henderson, Nevada & Nationwide

As many have already reported, a fraudulent credit card (debit card) charge was made to my account. Many hours of research and calling the 888-548-1032 phone number have gotten me no where.

It appears that JP Media is a fraudulent company set up just to charge a bunch of us for nothing. The company seems to have disappeared. The people at the phone number (Interactive Audiotext Services, a [bad] customer service company) apparently have no clue how to contact JP Media (what a way to run a company, consider this a complaint against them too).

During my first call to IAS I was told that my card would be credited within 3 days. That was on 11/12/03. Still nothing and now IAS says they don't do business with JP Media and can no longer help me. Let's hope the banks can do something about this. PLEASE TELL YOUR FRIENDS AND LOVED ONES TO CHECK THEIR ACCOUNTS / STATEMENTS ASAP.
