Legacy Visa marked a payment late that was not late. In fact, the payment was made "too early" and was credited to the previous month instead of the current month.

It looked as though I had two payments for one month but no payments for the next month. Upon my dispute, they credited me the late fee but refused to remove the 30 day late mark.

I was told by a phone rep that they do not report to credit bureaus payments that are less than 60 days late. However, they reported this inaccurate mark and refuse to rectify the situation.

I have never made a late payment to them or to any other creditor.
