I ordered 2 sets of business cards from VistaPrint back in June 2008 & charged them to my Discover Card. In a effort to see why my balance never changed (even with making my payments on time) , I reviewed my monthly statement.
I discovered something called Passport To Fun Plus charged on my card for $17.95. Knowing I had not used this card in a while, I was confused and afraid that someone stole my identity. I called Discover, only to be told that I had to contact the company first. Then was told that I shouldn't signed up for something that I don't know what it is. I NEVER signed up for this program, and I have the foggest idea of what it is.
I called the company and went through the cancellation prompt but didn't receive a cancellation number. So, I went through the website only to be asked for my credit card number. I called a friend of my that said she discovered the charges on her credit card also after ordering from VistaPrint.
This company has gotten over $200 from me in over a year. I blame myself for not catching this sooner. But I am also upset with Discover because I opted for the payment protection program. What good help that has been to me. Passport To Fun Plus is a MAJOR ripoff! So is any credit card company that charges you to protect your card from any unknown charges, only to collect money from you and still allowing unknown charges to be made to your card. Please learn from my errors!!
