WaMu Credit Card The credit card comany went into our bank account and tried to take $1600 out of our account without our permission and we only had $600 in that account. It cause us $32 to stop the check the our bank gave them Pleasanton California

WaMu credit card company went into our bank account without our permission and have our bank sent them a check of $1600 which our bank did .

Well we only had $600 in that account. How we findout is that my wife went to buy something at a store and they told her check was no good.So she called our bank to find out why? That is when we found out that WaMu took our money out of that account. Well we had our bank to put a stop on that

check they sent to them and it cost us $32 to do it. Now we do owe WaMu $1600 but we have been paying our monthly payment to them.

What I would to know is it against the law for a credit card to do what they did? We called WaMu and asked them who gave them permission to take money out of our account and they first said we did and we told them we didnot. Then they told use the bank give them permission which is another lie. So we give up on trying to find out who or how they did it.
