I went online to Westminster Mint to purchase one 1 ounce American Eagle Silver Bullion coin.Without logging onto the site with my password I placed the order for one 2010 American Silver Eagle Silver Bullion coin and immediately looked to see if it showed in my cart. My cart showed that it was empty. I had forgotten my password so I had to tell westminster mint that I had lost it. They emailed me a new one and as soon as I logged in with my new password, I reordered one 2010 American Silver Eagle Bullion coin and checked my email and there were two (2)order conformations for $26 and change instead of one (1). I called the phone number on the website and the man I talked to said that the sale was final because the price was already locked in.

Westminster mint offers gold and silver bullion in a live market. The price of gold and silver change several times an hour. The terms and conditions of the sale are disclosed and agreed to prior to anyone placing an order and all sales are final. Buyers choose us in the first place because our prices are very competitive. If an order was placed a confirmation is generated it is impossible for it not to be in the shopping cart. The correct course of action since the order was placed online would be to email customer service who under the circumstances of the complaint would have canceled this order and made sure only one coin was mailed. Westminster Mint is a reputable business with an excellent reputation in the industry. We are an A rated company with the Better Business Bureau. This was not credit card fraud, nor is this a scam.
