Did you happen to watch 'The News Hour with Jim Lehrer' on Friday evening? I watched it last night and it had a Report about the 'marriage' of Bank of America & Merrill Lynch.
If you don't know it already, Bank of America bought Merrill Lynch last year. The former CEO at Merrill Lynch became an executive at Bank of America. Guess what? He authorized $4.1 BILLION in BONUSES to be paid out to executives right before Bank of America took-over Merrill Lynch!
Keep in mind- Bank of America received BILLIONS of dollars from the TARP (Troubled Asset Relief Fund) which is TAXPAYER'S money!!!!! He authorized these BONUS payments of $4.1 BILLION earlier than usual!!! This way, he didn't have to get PERMISSION from Bank of America because it was done days BEFORE the merger.
Here's something else- The former CEO of Merrill Lynch, I believe his name is John Thain, who went over to Bank of America, had his office redecorated for a cost of $1.2 MILLION! The Report last night showed a RUG that cost $87,000 for his office, a CREDENZA for a cost of $6,800, and a TRASH-CAN that cost $1,400!
The Report also suggested that Merrill Lynch was in much DEEPER 'doo-doo' than they were actually in!!! So, Bank of America kinda got 'SCREWED' by the deal because it wasn't what they expected.
BOTTOM LINE- Get EVERY PENNY you have OUT OF Bank of America NOW! Get your BOA Credit Card balance transferred to another account, or pay it off NOW!!! All of these things that happened with the acquisition of Merrill Lynch are now trickling-down to Bank of America's customers, wouldn't you agree?
BOA credit card holders, and BOA checking-account holders, & BOA customers, are going to PAY THE PRICE for the Merrill Lynch deal, right? Get EVERYTHING out of BOA!!!!! Open an account with a LOCAL CREDIT UNION now!!!!! DO NOT KEEP any of your money with ANY BANK that is a PUBLICLY HELD BANK!!!!!!!
Local Credit Unions, or Locally OWNED & OPERATED Banks are the way to go!!!!!!
Also, 'Google' this- RIP OFF REPORT #411913, and read how large Banks are allegedly taking out SECRET LIFE INSURANCE POLICIES on current & former employees!!!!!
BOA, & Citi, & many others are in DEEP, DEEP, DEEP, 'doo-doo', in my opinion. They'll all try and make-up their losses by charging honest Americans ANYWAY they can!!! SIMPLY CANCEL ALL ACCOUNTS IN ALL PUBLICLY HELD Banks NOW!!!

P.S. Report your complaints about BOA to Andrew Cuomo. He's your Attorney General. He's ONE of only a handful of people in the entire USA who is actually on the PEOPLE'S side. TRUST NO POLITICIANS EVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!! They are 100% AGAINST the PEOPLE of America!!!!!!!! Simply take a look at their actions!!! They are 'for' the CORPORATIONS!!! The politicians work 'for' the corporations, and the FED is in control of the corporations & the politicians, and the USA, in my opinion!!!
