I used my MBNA/NCL credit card accumulating points toward to any NCL cruise in the future. I was very excited that I was able to accumulate 2000 points toward a future cruise. After all it took years of being a Royal customer in order to accumulate these points. Then I was notified by Bank of America that they were ending the program in December 2008 and were coming up with a new program. They kept there word by saying that the Compass Rewards Certificates would be mailed in early 2009, however, they would have and experation date in order to use them. Each certificate reads 500 Points Up to $500 off. When I called NCL and Bank of America to redeme my certificates I was told that they are useless. Bank of America should have sent out a letter stating that 500 points is equall to less than $3.00.

MILLIONS upon MILLIONS of Americans who will find out that their 401K's & IRA's will be much like the 'certificates' you mentioned near the end of your Ripoff Report.

You see, just because you receive a piece of paper saying one thing, doesn't necessarily reflect what it REALLY is, correct?

It's just like the many clients who were receiving 'account statements' from Bernard Madoff, wouldn't you agree? They were getting statements saying that the money was there, right? But it REALLY wasn't there, huh?

It's also very similar to what the Harvard Business Professor said in late 2004, isn't it? Here's one of his quotes- 'The prices (values) that you see posted for a share of stock for a publicly held company are all a lie. It's an illusion.' - Harvard Business Professor. Just take a look at every publicly held company's stock value from a year ago, & compare it to today's value!

You can 'Google' this- RIP OFF REPORT FUEL FREEDOM INTERNATIONAL MPG CAPS, and go to the 2001 Toyota Tacoma Report, & then to the Update entitled- 'Blame it on a Lawyer' to read that quote, & others by the good Professor.

They all came TRUE, didn't they? Even the one about 'West Palm Beach Florida', huh? Madoff has an $11 MILLION home in Palm Beach Florida!!! It's in his wife's name! What a COINCIDENCE!
