BANK OF AMERICA RIPOFF DISHONEST BILLING PERIODIC CHARGES AND SECURE PLAN WAS RIPOFF TOO.I BECAME UNEMPLOYED AND WAS DENIED PLAN BENEFITS I PAID FOR! NEWARK New Jersey

Bank Of America charged me outrageous "Periodic Charge" for five consecutive months for no reason!!When I was offered this credit card,I asked the Rep. that was offering the plan, how much would my "Monthly Minimum" if my card was at its Max limit, he said $10.00 minimum.
Well what the guy didn't tell me was; that if i was near the max limit, than a "periodic finance charge" would be applied to my Monthly Minimum. By the time this was all said and done, my balance had gone over the limit(because of the finance charges),and my Apr Rate went from 7.9% to 18.9% and on top of that i was also charged an over the limit fee.

My payment went from $10.- to over $100.- because of their charges,and now i am stuck paying off my card at 2.5 times higher interest than what its supposed to be.Also I am still receiving the finance charges every month of atleast $40.- per month! They were very dishonest about the whole thing. I was told I could get a review in 6-12 months!!

To top it all off, I've also been paying over $20.- per month for their cardholder security plan, and when I needed the plan the most due to being unemployed, I was sent a letter of Denial For Benefits!!They're A very dishonest company and will tell you only what they want to so you will get a card,but in the end of it all it's a scam!!!
