Capitol One Credit Card make payments, returned payments account suspended Salt Lake City Utah

I made a payment on my credit card account to capitol one on the 22nd of October 2009. I realized I put the payment in the wrong a checking account about an hour later, so I logged back in to my on line capitol one banking account and edited the payment. It accepted the change and I went on about my business.

On October 29, 2009 my payment didn't show, so I started investigaing as to why. I checked both my checking accounts, no sign of a payment and now it was late, so I call capitol one. (the credit card is in my husbands name but I can get info about the account) They said my bank returned the payment. My bank never was presented with the payment to return it. I had more than enoungh to pay the bill in my account. I told the lady I was speaking with to retry the payment and she verified the account number and routing number it went through with no problem.

A few days later I tried to access my account and it was locked and suspened for a returned payment for 30 days. They are problablely going to charge me a late fee, I haven't got that yet. How can they make a type-o with the account numbers and It's my fault. I am the one who contacted them and it's my fault and I have to pay for their mistake!!!

They refuse to own up their mistake so I can't use or access my account. They want me to make my next payment quick collet by phone so they can charge me more money for something they did. What can I do about this. I would like to report them to anyone I can and get my account back.
