Capitol One Six months to process a dispute! and STILL no success Richmond Virginia

I had a dispute against a quack dentist as he took over five months to replace five crowns in my mouth. Numerous visits and trys at fitting crowns that were made incorrectly, or not at all.

Problem is I was going to have eight more crowns done, but after five months of pain and too many visits to the office, I told him I was not going ahead with the treatment for replacing the other eight crowns. Unfortunately I had paid for ALL the work $11,395.00 up front....as they charged me for work not done, which is illegal here in Florida, and against their Merchant service agreement with Capitol one.

He said they would credit the account $6400.00. Never happened, so I filed dispute with capitol one. After supplying them with all the info they requested, I was given a credit.....the wrong amount of $9225.00.

They have credited and taken away this credit now three times, most recently I got a letter from them on 1/6/09 that they had made a mistake of debiting my account for $9225.00, and credited that amount, AGAIN, instead of the correct amount of $6400.00.

Today I look online and they have debited my account again for $11,395.00. Forget trying to call them, I have over 20 times and spoken to 20 supervisors, I have all their ID #s as I ask every time. You cannot get a hold of any English speaking persons, nor anybody who cares. I wrote the CEO Mr. Fairbank and that is the reason they credited the account on 1/6/09....but now they have incorrectly debited my account again.

Stay far away from Capitol One, as all is well when you are spending tens of thousands of dollars on their credit card a year, but have a problem, and you may as well just give up as they are so disorganized, and uncaring that it is a nightmare, and I guess I will have to resort to some sort of litigation to get them to listen and credit the account correctly.
