This is in reference to an account I have with Chase credit services.

It was a joint account (with my mother 10 years ago) when it was 1st received. All payments until 2007 were paid on time and in full.

Last year two payments were missed due to hardship. These were mentioned to the company by me, stating that they would be repaid in a timely manner. There was an agreement drawn up and signed by myself. These payments were paid back in full when promised. In the meantime there were credit hits upon the primary card member (my mother) and eventually other credit (not relation to CHASE) reduced her credit lines without informing her. Thus leaving her with less money to spend on her card(s). The negative aspect of this was that she was declined at the grocery store due to exceeding the limit. She is on a fixed income and doesn't need the hassle.

I went thru the process of removing hr from the account to halt further negative action upon her credit and embarrassing incident like the one above. Chase sent the forms (2 times) to remove the primary owner and hold me fully responsible. Both times the forms were signed and faxed to the appropriate dept.

On October 3, 2008 I received a conformation letter stating: As your credit card company we value your business and want to be completely satisfied with your account....

We have successfully processed your request to remove the primary owner of the account with he information you have provided. The co-owner (me) remains fully responsible for the remaining balance for the current account and any future charges.

In conclusion to my eventful escapade my mother is still the primary account holder and is currently receiving credit hits for this account only.

When confronted about the manner the only sensible account manager placed me on hold for 30 min. and came back with your letter of a successfully processed request "was written in error" the account is closed and we can not adjust any account once it has been closed. Continuing to completely deny any wrongdoing or offering to rectify any mishap.

All I am requesting is that she be removed completely because she is not involved in any of this turmoil.

Meanwhile I hold my obligation to pay monthly installments until otherwise...
