Clout Visa, Clout.com, M&I Bank clout, m&i bank, preventing me from paying off this debt Ripoff Internet

I got this card when I was fresh out of high school into college. I used it, payed it and kept that going for a while. Then they increased my limit, I was still using it and paying on it.

Then I had a problem paying for one month, so i called them to ask if I could just pay next month. The rep I spoke to said she could just void out a check for my next 3 payments, starting next month. So I did, 3 payments, one check, 3 different dates, and 3 different amounts over 50 and under 65. Much to my surprise, they took all 3 out within a few days of this conversation.

I was a college student at that time, who ended up bouncing 11 checks because of them. I called when my bank notified me of what happened and she said she told me the payments could come out as late as the dates she gave me...not true. I could do nothing, i had to take a full time job and stop going to school to fix this mess they made me.

Once I got back up...a few months later, I could only afford to pay them 20 one month, lady told me that was not good enough, i sent the check anyway and they returned it. So i could not pay anything for a while until I joined a credit counseling about 3 years ago, and clout would not accept the money from my counseling company.

So no payments were made for many years after that. About 4 months ago a guy called me on behalf of this account, I was glad, i want this off of my credit. He told me I needed to pay the full balance, which is now $2493.03. I told i could not afford that, but can make payment of 40 or 50 dollars a month. He said he can't accept payments, there is no settlement, I have to pay this. I told him this is all I can do.

He then called me once a month thereafter until this last month. I got a paper in the mail, A Civil Action Hearing Notice. I am loosing my mind over this. I can not afford the whole balance...the Magistrate can not even help me, he advised me to set up payment arrangements. The Magistrate informed me that this man can set up an order of execution as a next step. I am on the verge of a nervous breakdown here. i am trying to pay this, I don't know what else to do.
