Do You Read???

AUTHOR: Slayer1134 - Las Vegas (U.S.A.)

Ok so apparently people now fail to read the contract that comes along with the card that breaks down and explains every fee and charge of the company then again what would you expect from someone who cant spell the word limit.

In any case you folks really need to stop and think about this...You spent the money!!!!! Pay it back!!! you cant expect to spend $500 and only payback $20 a month when your yearly fee is 5.75 a month and your interest rate is 23 % which is laid out in the contract. That alone makes your $20 payment a $10 payment of the bat,Not to mention the 7.95 you pay to make the payment over the phone which is also in the contract.

Listen Closely if you want to escape credit ones hold on you

1.NEVER PAY BY PHONE OR WEB!!! ALWAYS SEND IN THE MAIL WITH 7 DAYS TO SPARE

2.IF THEY CALL YOU IN ADVANCE ASK IF THERES A MATCH PAY OFFER AVAILABLE SOMETIMES THEY WILL PAY HALF OF WHAT YOUR OVER THE CREDIT LIMIT

3.IF YOU WANT TO PUT A STOP TO THE CALLS PRETEND YOUR SOMEONE ELSE AND TAKE A MESSAGE IF THEY LEAVE A MESSAGE THEY CANT CALL BACK!!!TILL THE NEXT DAY THAT IS.

4.FDCPA IS THE AGENCY THAT WATCHES OVER COLLECTION COMPANIES THEY SAY COLLECTORS CANNOT CALL YOU MORE THAN 4 TIMES A DAY NOW YOU KNOW.

5.MOST OF ALL IF YOU CANT SEND YOUR PAYMENT 7 DAYS BEFORE HAND DONT BE AN IDIOT JUST CALL AND MAKE THE PAYMENT $7.95 IS BETTER THAN $29

Pay your bills!

AUTHOR: Davet203 - Prospect (U.S.A.)

The best way to avoid interest charges is to pay your bill in full every month. The best way to avoid late payment fees is to pay your bill on time (several days before it's due). The best way to avoid running into credit problems is to never charge more than you can afford to payoff.

I love my Credit One Bankcard

AUTHOR: Nikki - Coconut Creek (U.S.A.)

One option to pay your bill and not be charged is to send it in the mail. Another option is to pay online, and yes, there is a $7.95 fee. They tell you this B4 you pay your bill and then it's up to you if you want to pay it or send in your payment. Some companies allow you to pay online for free, as a courtesy, and some make you pay for it. The point is they give you the option. Comes in handy if you're close to that due date.

Why do I love my Credit One Bank card? I do not have any problems with them posting my payments, they report correctly to the credit bureaus, and they periodically raise my credit limit. Once, I went overlimit by about $2 and frantically called them. I spoke to someone I could understand, was told I would not be charged the overlimit fee (and I wasn't), and they did not raise my percentage rate to the default rate.

If your balance was $478 after you made your payment, you didn't pay enough. The $7.95 online payment fee + the $7.95 monthly fee + your interest takes you over the limit.

Unreal at best...

AUTHOR: Resty - Waunakee (U.S.A.)

If your spelling is ANY indication of your reading skills, it's not wonder you're getting screwed by this place. I must say your syntax isn't all that good either.

You have got to READ these contracts and such that get sent out. How can you possibly expect to SPEND the money and not pay it back? I agree that all the fees seem a rip...but then, you shouldn't have agreed to those conditions and better yet....you shouldn't have used the card.

I see from a later poster that claims to be employed by this place that his or her skills aren't much better. Sad
