On or about the 17th of sept, 06 I applied online for a credit card. I thought I was appling directly to the credit card comp.

I was never told that I was going to be debited $159.00 for this supposed service. On 9\18\06 while checking my balance on my checking acc. I was informed of the deduction, which caused my checking acc. to be overdrawn.

I immediately reported this to the bank, and was told that I would have to first contact the company and try to resolve it that way. I have done this to no avail.

My bank has sent me a notice saying that due to the conversation we had on the phone no action will be taken by the bank.

I have left message's, and emails for this company but I have yet to receive any response from them.

Please if there is anything you can do to help me please feel free to call me @ any of the numbers or email address I have included in this report.

I need to have this money returned to my acc. as soon as possible to get my acc. back in order. Also I don't understand how the bank can pay out something when the funds are not there to cover the amounts.

Sure I have overdraft protection, but that is only for the amount in my savings, but no money was taken from my savings, and the bank still paid the debit and wants to act like I did something wrong.
