Innovative Merchants Credit Card Processing drafted account for $75.00 anual fee; cancelled and they in turned drafted act for $295.00 with out any notification. tried to reason, with no results. Woodland Hills, California

innovative merchant solutions company drafted my business account for $75.00 for an anual fee. i contacted this company and they told me if i cancelled the account the i would receive the $75.00 back. after 3 to 4 weeks i did not receive the money. when i checked my account on saturday i noticed that they had drafted my business account for $295.00, which they say was part of the original contract. i contacted them on 5 different occassions in order to get the the department that could answer my questions and notified them that i was filing chapter 7. at no time in any of these conversations did any one tell me that these fees would be involved. needless to say i was not notified of any of these charges prior to them hitting my account, which in turn caused overdrafts and fees of $70.00. as i research they have overcharged me for 5 years and offer no help in this matter. had i known that it was going to cost me $295.00 to close the accounts, i could have waited, closed my account and had the attorneys deal with them. i suggest that you do not deal with this company. seek reputal banks to handle your cards. this company should be put out of business.
