Tru Payment Processing was recommended by a customer of mine. Their virtues of wonderful local customer service and low fees were extolled. I contacted Ryan, one of their sales reps and we discussed the services I wished to have. This included the sale and acceptance of personalized gift cards. I was assured that they would lower my fees or at least not be above what I was paying at present. Also that the gift cards would be ready early enough for Christmas gift giving. I waited and waited for them to start my processing. I was still using another processor. Then I noticed a $206.00 fee charged to my checking account. I called them and they said it was a minimum processing fee as outline in our contract. I was never given a copy of my contract. When, 2 months later, I asked for it, I got 23 pages, only 3 of which had my initials showing that I'd read the page. I didn't agree to the terms on the new pages. And they promised to refund my money as soon as we started to process with them. It was mid-November and I still had no gift cards and I was still with my old processor. And I had another $206.00 charge to my account for 'minimum' fees. They finally did begin processing at mid-month. My charges for the half month they did the processing was as much as for a full normal month. Their fees did not match my contract. And they did not refund the minimum processing from prior months as promised. Also, their customer service closes at 2PM weekdays and is not available on weekends. This is a B-S group of individuals -- from the "owner" in Atlanta, to the local sales reps.
PLEASE---do yourself a favor and make a note of their name.....Tru???? Definitely NOT!!! BTW---I dropped them like a hot rock.

I'm amazed at the consumer power of Ripoff Report. Several people contacted me--Tru's customers as well as the owner of the company itself. They went over my complaints and agreed to make everything satisfactory to my liking. Had they been this efficient and concerned from the beginning, no complaint would have been posted. A wake-up call for all involved.
