On November 17, 2004, I went into Men's Wearhouse to purchase several items for a wedding. I was offered and applied for their credit card, which would have afforded me a 10% discount on my purchases. They processed a credit application through Monogram Credit Card Bank of Georgia, who reported that "Credit Bureau Reports Applicant Deceased". You may imagine my surprise to discover that I was driving around while dead. Needless to say, my application was denied.
I believe that Monogram Credit was neither diligent nor responsible in making this report. It would appear that this isn't the first instance of inaccurate reporting by this company.
