Pioneer Media LLC Fraudulent charge on my VISA credit card $11.89 Anywhere, Nationwide

I received my VISA bill thru the Treasury Federal Credit Union for period ending 20-Oct-2008 and noticed a mysterious charge from "Pioneer Media LLC" for $11.89 on 24-Sep-2008 in Mass. Since I don't use the VISA card that much, the charge stood out like a sore thumb. An Internet search turned up a Pioneer Media GROUP in Greenfield, Mass, but their website says 'We are not Pioneer Media LLC....if your credit card has been billed by Pioneer Media LLC....call your credit card company...'

So, whoever is perpetrating this fraud has slimed an honest company as well as stolen money from VISA...maybe me, as well. They're smart enough to incure the charge at the beginning of the billing month so they can be long gone by the time the consumer gets the bill a month later and starts asking questions.

Since the perpetrators are probably using another good company's name in altered form by now, they only way to stop them from doing this again is to close my VISA account at Treasury's Federal Credity Union. Unfortunately, Treasury's FCU got failing marks in customer account security, so I wonder if this fraudulent charge is a result of a security breach at that financial organization.

From now on, I intend to view my credit card accounts online more frequently rather than waiting for the monthly bill to arrive in the mail.
