Providian Visa ripoff made a one time offer for payoff and after I did this refused to honor their offer and keep hounding for 4 years for more money Tilton New Hampshire

I fell behind in my payments to Providian in February 2001....I was offered a one time settlement deal in November of 2001...I complied with their offer and was glad to have the account paid off and closed by January 2002.....in October 2002, I was completely baffled when I received an outlandish amount due to Providian Visa----they did not contact me for 10 months after payoff but suddenly tacked on huge interest rates and sold an account that was already closed to a new creditor....this has been a nightmare on my credit report.....in addition to that another providan visa appeared negatively on my credit report in april 2001...i continuosly disputed this account since it was not mine and finally in october 2005 it was removed from my credit report and was found to be someone's account with my same name but different social security.....do you think that just maybe someone somewhere with providian just might have discovered within a 4.5 year period that my social security number did not match that account?!!!i have had it with this company and presently am awaiting another investigation result by them into the account for which i was the holder....they happen to be past the due date for reporting the outcome of this latest investigation also.....if there is any attorney who would like to help me on this case and would like to be rewarded on a percentage of the money we should win please contact me......i am so sick of providian visa that i have no words to describe it.....rhonda
