Today is sept 10th 2009. A total merchant services salesman came into my store and said he would give me $500 to switch to his company for credit card processing. He told me there would be no charges for three months and he would beat my current rate. I asked him how much it would cost and told him we are a new business and can't afford more than what we pay now which was low. he said that was no problem and that he would be lower and I would have three months no charges.
WEll it was a lie. They took out 105.00 right away and caused to charges on my account. I never got that back. Then Shawn Wallace brought me $100.00 cash and not $105.00 plus the two charges which would be $175.00 and no receipt or paperwork or anything.
I called so many times to Shawn and this company to staighten this out.I have so amny numbers but one is 1-888-682-4464. I can prove this on a phone bill. So A week later I called him to make sure they were not taking any money out so I could avoid the same problem of insufficient funds charges. I called 10 times and he only called back after the 10th time and said it was taken care of and that I would not get charged. He lied. They took $47.00 out of my account and I only made $49.00 in credit card charges. Again I trusted him so my account had two more insufficient funds charges on it.
I called to cancel on Sept 29th 2009 and he said it was canceled and they would send me a box for the machine. I haven't received anything yet and in a week I will see if they take more money out. I called my bank last week and they couldn't help me and the company Total Merchant services won't talk to me. It's a game of transfer when I call them. Oh and one time when I did get someone they said a different company delt with the processing so I was like who are you and they said we are a loan company for your credit card machine and I was never told about that,( i was told I was just renting the machine for a small fee which was a lie) plus a third company handled a different question I had.
Completly rediculous. I would be happy to be in a class action suit against this company. It's illegal.
