There was a charge from a bar that should of never been charged to my card. When the bar tried to put it threw it was denied due to cancelation of card.
I was told by Capital One that in no way shape or form would they be able to charge it to the card after cancelation. My limit on the card was only $1000.00 and I had already used $500.00 of that which left me a $500.00 avaliable credit.
Two days later they allowed the charge to enter my card of $1300.00!!! Not only should it have been denied for that amount but the card was cancelled.
Now I am going through a nightmere with them calling me all the time. Not only are they adding late fees to it but the interst as well. They only did it to benifit themselves.

.....you cannot cancel an account that has a balance.
Where did the $1300.00 charge come from? Did you charge that amount after trying to cancel your card?
Please answer these questions so we can get a better idea on thnis situation.

What kind of "bar" was it that you ran up a $1300 bat tab?
