I wasted about 45 minutes listening to their supposed "conference call" in which I and other prospective "Account Executives" were not able to speak. I think it may have been a recording...
Anyway, while I was listening I realized a few things. First, there are many, many other organizations doing this same business. (Just go to online job boards and you will find a few right away). Second, this is basically some organized folks getting a bunch of "us" to go out and do the legwork required to set up new accounts for them. If they can pay us what they say they can, one can guess how much they are keeping themselves. It is a small step to realize that there might be some overpricing going on here.
Ah, overpricing. When one of the conference call speakers was talking about the hardware that we could sell to clients, I checked up on a few of the items. The speaker was telling us that we get to keep 100% of any amount that we can sell a hardware device (terminal, check reader, etc.) for over the price the devices would be provided to we Account Executives. How kind of CPC to generously provide those devices to us at prices already above what the devices sell for on the internet. I checked a few and found that they all were at least 10% more than what I found very quickly online.
I also quickly found a similar business solution with lower processing costs and no penalties for severing the provider relationship.

As anyone knows a company cannot operate without making a profit. Does your employer make a profit? If not how long will you be able to keep your job? As far as terminal costs, CPC offers a free terminal program to its merchants. As far as doing the legwork, product is sold either by salesmen, exectutives, phone reps etc and they do it to make a profit in order to pay employees like you
